Reformer Foundations Is Now Available
Reformer Foundations is a new four-week course for anyone who wants to start reformer pilates properly, without feeling rushed. It runs as a fixed series rather than a drop-in class, so the same group moves through the fundamentals together.
What the course covers
Each week builds on the one before it, starting with the machine itself and finishing with a full sequence you can carry into open classes.
- Week one — carriage setup, foot bar positions, spring tension, and how to read your own resistance.
- Week two — footwork, bridging, and the breathing pattern that supports each movement.
- Week three — core sequencing, arm and leg springs, and working through a longer flow.
- Week four — a complete class at your own tension, with time for questions at the end.
Who it is for
Complete beginners are the priority. It also suits anyone returning after a long break, and mat pilates regulars who have been curious about the reformer but would rather not learn it in the middle of a class.
Emma Wilson teaches the series. Her focus is precise, controlled movement and alignment, which is exactly what the first few weeks on a reformer ask for.
Booking
Places are limited so everyone gets hands-on adjustment. Reserve the full series from the class schedule, or ask at reception if you would like to try a single session first.
